Bedtime Stories for Kids: 5 Cute Short Stories to Read Aloud at Bedtime (Bedtime Collection)Bedtime Stories for Kids: 5 Cute Short Stories to Read Aloud at Bedtime by Uncle Amon
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Bedtime Stories for Kids is a collection of five terrific tales for kids. Included are:

• Teddy Bear
• Pablo’s Dream Job
• Katie Caterpillar
• Oliver, The Sweet Dreams Owl
• Julie’s New Home

What more can I possibly say about Uncle Amon’s books that I haven’t already said in my previous reviews? I love these books. They’re perfect for beginning readers and enjoyable for toddlers to have read to them.

As usual, Uncle Amon includes a valuable gift inside this book. There’s a link to download the book “3 Books for Children” right at the start of this book. This makes Bedtime Stories for Kids a super value.

Each story is engaging and entertaining. The illustrations at the beginning of each story are cute and colorful. I can’t say enough positive things about Uncle Amon’s book series. Readers can certainly get a lot of entertainment from one download!

The Tiniest Elf by Uncle Amon Book Review Share and One Day Freebie!

I've read many of Uncle Amon's children's books over the years and I'm always impressed with them. When it comes to this author, I know I'll be downloading an activity-packed, kid-friendly eBook that will be sure to appeal to a wide range of ages.

The Tiniest Elf is FREE today and tomorrow only and I encourage you to grab it while you can during this freebie promo. To convince you, continue reading on to my book review below!

These stories center on Twinkletoes the elf, who was the tiniest Christmas elf. In the first story, Twinkeltoes is a sad little elf. He was so tiny, he couldn’t perform any elf chores. Although the other elves were nice to Twinkletoes, he was very sad that he wasn’t much help. Even Santa couldn’t cheer him up. Things become serious when Twinkletoes begins to realize his sadness has greater consequences.

There are four other Twinkletoes tales in this one book and each one is an adorable story for children! They’re each sweet with happy resolutions that children will be sure to enjoy. There are also some great kid-friendly activities at the end of each story. As is usual with Uncle Amon’s books, kids get plenty of quality stories, puzzles, jokes and more. Great value!

Doody the Dinosaur is Another Wonderful Uncle Amon Children's Book - 5 Star Book Review

Uncle Amon just released another one of his wonderful children's story book collections and, as usual, I have only good things to say. Doody the Dinosaur is another 5 Star book for kids!

Doody the Dinosaur is a happy little dinosaur who enjoys doing what most other dinosaurs his age do – swimming, playing and eating yummy tree leaves. Doody is also very special, because of the yellow spots on his back, that increase in number every year on his birthday. His friend Tara Dactyl is graceful and strong and Doody wishes he could fly like her. Isabel Iguana is bored with the same old activities so she searches for adventure and finds a yummy treat. Big Grape is tall and majestic, but there’s just one thing he can’t get over – his fear of thunderstorms. Grouchy Gramps is very old and grouchy indeed and the kids are not always nice when they talk about him. Doody takes a chance on making Gramps his friend and is nicely surprised.

All of these stories come together in another one of Uncle Amon’s wonderful story book collections. Readers will be delighted to find the usual puzzles, activities and jokes that Uncle Amon includes in his children’s books.

The stories are geared toward 4 – 12 year olds, which is certainly a wide range. However, what’s so great about Uncle Amon’s books is they’re wonderful for parents and caregivers to read to younger children, but still interesting and engaging enough for older children to enjoy. Another wonderful collection and well worth the download!

Another Wonderful Children's Book from Uncle Amon - Al E. Gator, the Alligator Who Wouldn't Swim!

HERE'S ANOTHER WONDERFUL CHILDREN'S BOOK FROM UNCLE AMON. HURRY AND GRAB THIS ONE WHILE IT'S FREE ON AMAZON - NOW THRU 8/10/2017

Al E. Gator is an alligator who lives in a Louisiana bayou swamp with his family. Al is sweet and kind and everyone loves him. Al loves everything about his friends, his family and his swamp – everything but swimming underwater. Since swimming underwater is an important skill for an alligator to have, Al’s fear of underwater swimming poses a real problem for him. Al’s parents patiently try all sorts of things to help him get over his fear, but nothing seems to work. Will Al finally get over his fear? Readers will have read and find out.

As always, I love Uncle Amon’s books. I’ve read many of these books to youngsters and they never fail to impress and entertain them. Al E. Gator is no exception.

The content is age-appropriate and written with a wonderful mix of easy and challenging words – great for building those vocabulary skills! There are several short stories included here, along with the usual puzzles, jokes and other entertaining activities for kids to enjoy. A wonderful read and definitely worth the download!

Ellie the Elephant by Uncle Amon is Another Wonderful Children's Book

There are five wonderful children’s stories in this book:

  1. Ellie the Elephant
  2. The Monkey Who Cried Crocodile
  3. Tough Guy Rex
  4. A Flamingo of Many Colors
  5. Prince of the Jungle

Ellie the Elephant is a sweet and caring elephant who enjoys helping her friends. Yet, no matter how much she cares for the other animals, she remains a sad little elephant who never smiled. Four of her closest friends decide to find out why Ellie is so sad, so they follow her around to observe her throughout her typical day. They soon learn that Ellie has a very sad story to tell indeed. The Monkey Who Cried Crocodile is a fun retelling of The Little Boy Who Cried Wolf. Tough Guy Rex is about a rhino that is far too friendly for his family’s expectations. A Flamingo of Many Colors centers on Fatima the flamingo who’s unhappy being the same old boring color, pink. In Prince of the Jungle, Lyle the lion is surprised to suddenly find out he’s a prince.

These are five more exceptional children’s tales for parents and kids to enjoy together! In particular, the story of Ellie the Elephant is a lovely tale about family, friends and overcoming difficulty and tragedy. All of the stories are charming and kid-friendly. Each tale subtly and effectively deals with issues that concern children in terms that they can easily understand.

I love Uncle Amon’s stories. There are always wonderful activities included at the end for kids to explore further. Older children should have no trouble reading these stories alone and younger children should enjoy having them read to them.

Safari Collection by Uncle Amon Children's Book is an AWESOME Value

I had previously read and reviewed one of Uncle Amon’s books, Happy Monsters, and was so impressed with it I knew I had to grab Safari Collection.

Safari Collection is an excellent value and it should keep kids happily occupied for quite a while. There are four awesome kids books included in this one volume and with each book there’s a total of twenty stories and oodles of jokes, puzzles, mazes and another free Uncle Amon gift. I’ve enjoyed belonging to the Uncle Amon Book Club and I’m always happy to receive an email detailing how I can get all sorts of freebies.

These stories are sweet children’s tales about friendship, family, problem-solving and other kid-friendly topics. The lovely learning lessons for kids are sure to be appreciated by parents, grandparents and caregivers. Early readers should have no problem following these stories and younger children should enjoy having these stories read to them over and over again. The expressive illustrations are sure to delight even the youngest child. I could see these books keeping children involved and happy during road trips or quiet time activities. It’s a great value!
